Also, she hosted It's Showtime during the late afternoon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, who was an Australian attorney. She was born at Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. In 1982, her father got married to Ojales. Jasmine her younger sister also is an actor. The father of the couple had one half sister, known as Clare who died in 2007 aged just four months, due to a heart disease.
